Below are policies and rules to assist with your visit to the Florence Civic Center.
Please Note: Policies are subject to change per event needs without notice.
All guests entering the facility must have a valid event ticket to gain admission. For most events children under two years of age may enter free of charge, providing that he/she sits on the lap of a parent or guardian. Florence Civic Center recommends that guests with children under the age of two (2) years old bring proof of the infants’ age with them to expedite entry. Re-Entry to the facility is prohibited.
Re-entry is prohibited. Guests will not be permitted to leave an event and re-enter the same event. There are only a few exceptions to this policy so please ask a Florence Civic Center Team member before exiting an event.
If you are interested in purchasing tickets to a Florence Civic Center event, you can do so at the Florence Civic Center Box Office located outside of Gate 2. You may also purchase through Ticketmaster retail outlets, Ticketmaster hotline 800-745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
Ticketmaster is the only authorized ticket-selling agent for the Florence Civic Center. The Florence Civic Center cannot be responsible for the authenticity of tickets obtained through any other sources. The Florence Civic Center will not honor counterfeit, duplicate and other invalid tickets. The venue strongly recommends only purchasing event tickets through Ticketmaster outlets and the venue Box Office. Avoid scams by only purchasing through authorized outlets and avoiding third-party ticketing sites and unofficial outlets. The Florence Civic Center cannot be responsible for payments or refunds through non-authorized sources.Ticketmaster is the only authorized ticket-selling agent for the Florence Civic Center. The Florence Civic Center cannot be responsible for the authenticity of tickets obtained through any other sources. The Florence Civic Center will not honor counterfeit, duplicate and other invalid tickets.
The Box Office hours are Monday-Friday from 10:00am-5:30pm and Saturday from 10:00am-2:00pm. For information on upcoming events and ticket prices call the Box Office at 843.679.4525.
Your ticket stub is not only proof that you possess a valid ticket for the event in which you are attending. Your ticket designates your correct seat location within the Florence Civic Center. Staff members can use your ticket to assist you in locating your party in the event you become separated. Arena personnel may request to see your ticket at any time during the event.
Doors Open / Facility Access
For most events at the Florence Civic Center, doors generally open to the public one hour before the event start time. This varies by event. For information, please call the Florence Civic Center at 843.679.9417. No person will be allowed into the building before the doors open.
Cameras & Video
No professional camera equipment may be brought in for any Florence Civic Center event. Personal still shot cameras are allowed for most events; however video cameras are prohibited. For sporting events, no flash photography or video is permitted. The Florence Civic Center is not liable for any damage to cameras brought into the Florence Civic Center. The use of “non-professional” still cameras without flash during concerts and other events hosted at the Florence Civic Center Arena will be determined on an event-by-event basis. All policies are event specific, so please call 843.679.9417 to verify prior to coming to the event.
Signs & Banners
Banners and signs are allowed at the Florence Civic Center; however, they must be constructed of flame-retardant material and may not be displayed during play due to sight restrictions (if at a game or sporting event). Banners should not be hung anywhere at the FCC by anyone other than those given written authorizations to do so by the FCC. Banners or signs may not be commercial in nature or obscene, or cause any disturbance to other fans. Banners and signs must be hand held and may not obstruct the view of other guests or Florence Civic Center permanent signage or exit signs, or be temporarily or permanently affixed to the building structure. The Florence Civic Center reserves the right to remove ANY banner or sign without exception. The Florence Civic Center reserves the right to allow or not allow banners into the building on a per-event basis.
The Florence Civic Center is a smoke-free facility. Designated smoking areas are located outside the arena near sections 317 and 318 on the upper concourse. Please contact a Florence Civic Center employee if you require help to find the designated smoking area. Guests who exit the building at any doors other than the designated doors at the smoking section will not be permitted to re-enter the building. To re-enter through the smoking section please have your ticket stubs present and ready. Smoking is prohibited in any other area of the Florence Civic Center. Guests who fail to comply with the Florence Civic Center’s smoking policy are subject to ejection.
Lost & Found
Guests who have lost an item during an event should contact the nearest Florence Civic Center staff member for assistance. Found items may be turned in to the Guest Services desk found in the lower lobby near the administrative offices. On non-event days, please call the Florence Civic Center at 843.679.9417. Items will be held for 30 days. Unclaimed items will be donated to charity. The Florence Civic Center is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Children should be told to contact the nearest Florence Civic Center staff member or uniformed Police Officer should they become lost. Lost children will be taken to the Guest Services desk located in the lower lobby near the administrative offices. Lost parents looking for a found child should go to that location as well.
In the event of an emergency, please notify any Florence Civic Center representative or uniformed police officer in your area in order to ensure that appropriate emergency personnel are notified and dispatched. Paramedics and EMTs are present during events at the Florence Civic Center; First Aid is located on the Main Concourse next to Section 311.
In the event of an emergency, all Florence Civic Center personnel have been trained and instructed to assist you in evacuating the premises. Appropriate emergency strobe lights and voice enunciators are located throughout the building, as well as in all public restrooms. Please always remain calm and follow the instructions from Florence Civic Center staff members.
The Florence Civic Center is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable entertainment experience. All event guests have a right to expect an environment where:
- Guests will be treated in a consistent, professional and courteous manner by all arena personnel.
- Guests will enjoy the event free from disruptive behavior, including foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.
- Guests will consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner. Intervention with an impaired, intoxicated or underage guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
- Guests will sit only in their ticketed seats and show their tickets when requested.
- Guests who engage in fighting, throwing objects or attempting to enter the staged area will be immediately ejected from the arena.
- Guests will smoke in outside, designated smoking areas only.
- There will not be any obscene or indecent messages on signs or clothing.
- Guests will comply with requests from arena staff regarding arena operations and emergency response procedures.
- Guests attempting to sell tickets on the Florence Civic Center property without permission will be asked to leave.
- Guests attempting to interfere with the progress of any event at Florence Civic Center will be ejected and subject to arrest.
- Guests will also be responsible for their own good time by reporting inappropriate behavior.
The Florence Civic Center staff has been trained to intervene where necessary to help ensure that the above expectations are met, and guests are encouraged to report any inappropriate behavior to the nearest usher, security guard or guest services staff member. Guests who choose not to adhere to these provisions will be subject to ejection without refund, and may also be in violation of city ordinances resulting in possible arrest and prosecution.

Services for Guests with Disabilities
The Florence Civic Center is committed to providing every customer with a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Accessibility for our guests with disabilities is a high priority. Please direct any questions regarding accessibility to our Guest Services at 843.679.9417. Elevators are available for the mobility-impaired.
Typically there is an Accessible drop-off located in the lower lever parking area near the lobby doors of Florence Civic Center. Please call Guest Relations at 843.679.9417 to confirm that this is the best option for dropping off guests with disabilities for your event.
Facility Features: All restrooms, smoking areas, telephones, ATMs and concession stands at the Florence Civic Center are accessible.
Parking: The Florence Civic Center has 75 handicapped parking spaces. Parking for disabled guests is available on a first come, first serve basis in the lower and upper parking lots
Customer Service: The Florence Civic Center staff is ready to help with any questions you may have about access to and within the facility.
Disabled and Accessible Seating is available on our concourse level based on availability. Companion seats are available for purchase along with each disabled seat purchased. When purchasing your tickets please make sure to mention any concerns and needs you may have. The Florence Civic Center will attempt to reasonably accommodate any concern with regard to guests with disabilities.
Wheelchair/companion fraud includes, but is not limited to, misrepresentation of a disability for the purpose of obtaining wheelchair/companion seating. The Florence Civic Center reserves the right to take appropriate action up to and including relocation, or ejection for wheelchair/companion ticket fraud.
