Meeting planners also find the affordability of the Florence Civic Center very attractive. experienced, professional planners are on staff to guide you through every decision from menu planning, meeting scheduling and meeting room choices to floor plan set ups, extra activities and area tours. The Civic
Center handles all catering responsibilities through Catering by SMG with an in-house food service department so menus are creative and so is the pricing. Our hospitality veterans are experts you can trust to help you design a beautiful meeting with a perfect budget.
 
Adaptable
The beauty of the Florence Civic Center lies in its adaptability as a facility. The creative design of the Center accommodates meetings of all sizes and requirements. All exhibition and convention space flows together under one roof. The 30,000 square foot Arena (10,000 seats) is adjoined by the well-appointed Pee Dee, Waccamaw and Santee Rooms which together offer up to 5,300 square feet or can be sectioned to be used individually. These
rooms adjoin the 15,000 square foot Francis Marion Exhibit Hall which accommodates up to 1,000 people for banquets, 1,400 for meeting set ups and up to 84 8’ x 10’ booths. All rooms offer high speed internet service. The Civic Center provides a total of 50,000 square feet of multipurpose meeting space.
