Convention South 101 Expo Halls NEWS

Florence Civic Center named #65 of the top 101 largest expo halls in the South.

GULF SHORES, Ala. (Aug. 21, 2013) - The Editors of ConventionSouth magazine, a national multimedia resource for planning events that are held within the South, have officially announced their 2014 ranking of the “101 Largest Expo Halls in the South.” The list is comprised of convention/exhibition facilities from across the South that have the largest amount of contiguous exhibit space, according to ConventionSouth research and editorial review.

“Meeting Planners and event organizers who plan large conventions, trade shows and exhibitions, rallies, and congregations will find that the facilities that made ConventionSouth’s 2014 list of the ‘101 Largest Expo Halls in the South’ have some of the largest gathering spaces in the U.S. and certainly the South,” said ConventionSouth Editor Marlane Bundock. “These stand-alone convention facilities were ranked on our list based on several factors, including their total contiguous exhibit space found on one level. Often facilities publish varying numbers for their exhibit space, therefore; ConventionSouth editors researched, to their best of their ability, how much exhibit space each facility offered on one level and within adjoining or adjacent rooms. Editors also made their selection and ranking based on their total meeting space as well as the type of conventions and trade shows that they can accommodate.”
